justify

Have you ever noticed that you can justify just about anything while you are driving? Take this for example. I’m driving along and come to a pedestrian crosswalk. Two women are standing looking left, right, left, right over and over. They are undoubtedly undecided when to cross. I proceed – in my mind they were just not ready to cross. My mind is KAAAA RAAA ZEEEE though – I saw them flip me the bird in my rear view mirror!

Another perspective you may not have considered...

Have you ever noticed that you can justify just about anything while you are walking? Take this for example. I’m walking along and come to a roadway intersection. A woman in a vehicle is stopped, looking left, right, left, right over and over. She is undoubtedly undecided when to continue driving. I proceed – in my mind she was just not ready to go. My mind is KAAAA RAAA ZEEEE though – I see her flip me the bird when I look back!

The lesson, I think, is that when one is driving or walking, it is best to keep the bird firmly unflipped.
