Halloween - a bit late
So I have been slacking lately with the blog - things have been crazy. Here are some pictures of the boys dressed up. We are so fortunate to have Nana who is so talented. Every year she makes us the best costumes!
Please excuse the crappy pictures - I had a BAD photo night.

Who's more traumatized?
CJ had some work done at the dentist yesterday. Poor thing had a cavity on his molar. It was bad enough that it warranted a baby crown... at age 3??? Thanks to his parents he had to endure what I thought was traumatizing.
He took it much better than me. I paced and looked out the window. I was asked twice by the dental hygienists if I needed to leave.
I must admit that seeing your child a bit stoned is funny in a twisted way... Scott and I tried not to laugh.
His eyes started to glaze over...
His feet and legs were next - he got real antsy and jittery...
Then his fingers started twitching a bit and he was dazed and confused looking at the TV in the room ...
After he was numbed up and they put the 'raincoat' (dental dam) on him is when things got funny.
Anyone who has had dental work knows that 'fat feeling' you get when 'they put your tooth to sleep'.
CJ could not stop moving his tongue ... he was trying to poke it through the raincoat. He was feeling the 'sleepy' side of his mouth. He would not stop! That is when Scott and I looked at each other and let a laugh out - quietly of course.
My poor baby, how could his mother be so cruel as to laugh like that at such a critical time???

They found their voices
Oh my gosh. My children have become those children. You know the ones I mean. The loud screaming ones. The annoying ones. The drive you crazy ones .....
Ughhhh, my sweet loving boys have found their voices... and for the past few days they just run and scream throughout the house.
This has got to stop!
Boys, please, I think the neighbors can hear you!

What happened
to Fall?????
My favorite season seems to have been cut short. In fact, I only enjoyed a few short days. The leaves are still on the tress. They are bright beautiful hues of yellow, orange and red.
It snowed yesterday! Wet slushy snow all day long. I must admit, the snow falling against the colorful tress in the background was gorgeous but I can't help but feel cheated.
I ask Mother Nature to let down her guard and allow us the eye-catching season of fall ... again.

Progress
Justin' s progress report that is .......
I must say that Justin has pulled it together. I am very proud of him. He's a 15 year old sophomore in high school with a one big ambition ...... to attend Penn State.
My bank account hurts already just thinking about it.
His room is filled with Penn State paraphernalia. Shirts, sweatshirts, blankets, his used ticket stubs, printouts of the football game schedule, books etc. I think if I could find something that would either 'roar like the Nittany Lion' or chant 'we are Penn State' he would have it attached it to his door for every time it opened and closed.
I am proud of you Jus. Keep up the hard work to see the results you want so badly!
